01What's in the box

You bring the bucket and the water. The pump draws from whatever you fill.

Hand shower head
Hand-held round head with a soft bristle ring around the spray face, about 6.7 in long (supplier's measurement).
Charging cable
Charges the pump through the 5V DC input under the flap (supplier's spec).
Rubber rings
Rubber rings, as listed on our supplier's packing list.
Shower rack
A holder for the shower head, as listed on our supplier's packing list.
Not in the box: a bucket, water or a towel. The pump goes in any bucket or container you fill, and you dry off with your own towel.
02How it works
Fill, drop in, rinse.
A gentle shower-head rinse, not a pressure washer. Mud comes off gradually: the water runs brown, then clearer.
Fill a bucket
Any bucket or container, with water you're happy to use on your dog. The pump doesn't heat it.
Drop in the pump
Check the charging flap is sealed, put the pump in the water and press power. Pick one of the two flow settings.
Rinse, then towel
One paw at a time, then the legs. Dried-on mud may take a few passes. Towel off with your own towel.
03Who it's for, and who should skip it
A good fit if
- Your walks end in mud or sand, far from a hose.
- You'd rather rinse paws at the car or the door than carry your dog to the tub.
- You can keep a bucket and a towel in the car.
Not the right tool if
- You need warm water: it doesn't heat water.
- You want to blast dried mud off: it's a gentle shower-head rinse, not a pressure washer.
- You want a full bath: it's for paws, legs and the worst of the mud.
- You don't want to carry a bucket: one isn't included.

What to know
We haven't measured how long a charge lasts, so we don't give a figure yet. The supplier says a full charge takes about 3 hours on a 5V/2A charger.
Charge it before the trip and dry it after. Some fur and a little mud will still come home with you: it's a rinse, not a car wash.
