Fine wire pins on a round head, no blades. Press the button on the back and the collected fur slides off the pins in one go.

Soft silicone bristles underneath, a strap for your hand on top. Fill the chamber, press, scrub.

Fur-pickup mitts

Black mesh, about 6.7 × 9.1 in each. Rub one in one direction over a sofa, a car seat or your coat and the fur gathers on the mesh.

Not in the box: shampoo. Use the one you already have.

02How it works

Brush, press, bath.

Brushing doesn't stop shedding. It catches the loose fur on the brush instead, so less of it ends up on your clothes.

Brush on a dry coat
Go in the direction the hair grows, gently around the face, belly and legs.
Press the button
The pins pull back and the fur slides off in one go, straight into the bin.
Then bath time
Fill the chamber with your shampoo, press, scrub. Rinse the brush after.

03Who it's for, and who should skip it

A good fit if

Your dog or cat sheds and will sit for a few minutes of brushing.
You'd rather empty a brush than pick fur off it.
You already have a shampoo you like.

Not the right tool if

Your pet won't let you brush at all.
You need shampoo: it isn't included.
You want shedding to stop. Brushing catches the loose fur; it doesn't stop it.

Bath days are up to you. Plenty of cats are never bathed at home, so for them the slicker is the part that matters.

Can I use it on my cat?

Yes, the slicker is for cats as well as dogs: gentle strokes, and go easy around the face and belly. Plenty of cats are never bathed at home, so for them the slicker is the part that matters.

Is shampoo included?

No. Use the shampoo you already have; the chamber holds it while you scrub.

Wet coat or dry?

Use the slicker on a dry coat and the bath brush on a wet one.

Will it stop my dog shedding?

No. Brushing doesn't stop shedding. It catches the loose fur on the brush instead.

When will it arrive?
